Year Update !

Wow, I can't believe it has been almost a year since I have posted! We have been so busy with the movie. There is so much to update you guys on ! The movie is almost done! There are just a few scenes to go. It has been a lot of hard work and yet so much fun! Pierre (the director and my boyfriend) is an amazing filmmaker! He is so talented at everything he has a hand in, directing, camera operating, editing, song selection, but don't take my word for it check out the trailer at http://www.tomsphone.com/ .

So now it is crunch time, which means it is also time to revive this website. We are almost ready for the festival circuit and in need of funding! If Kyle MacDonald (refer to one red paper clip) can get a house from a paperclip I think we can barter to get funding or publicity for his movie! Please help an indie filmmaker get his film out there!

Farmer's Market

Side note, I happened across a great Farmer's Market on 47th Street and 2nd Avenue while having lunch with a friend. It led me to wonder why, although I never before had a need for a 2 pound wedge of cheese, I found myself inexplicably drawn to this one as it stood next to a large sign that stated it was "Farm Fresh". This same exact cheese could have been in the supermarket and I would have passed right by it, but the fact that it was "Farm Fresh" drew me to this cheese. I think it's like those "As seen on TV" stickers placed on otherwise useless products. I know I have no use for a 500 foot duster that doubles as a tooth brush for my giraffe or a glow in the dark set of power tools (that just screams danger) but it is "As Seen on TV" ! I must have it.

Purpose

The purpose of this blog is two fold. Following the success of One Red Paper Clip I thought it would be interesting to try another barter site. It comes at a perfect time too because my wonderfully talented boyfriend is writing a great script and I figured, "What a great way to get him funding." Therefore I will open up the barter with a beautiful never been used white painted wood nightstand. I will not stop trading until we get funds or someone to fund his movie. All trades will be considered and welcomed. The one night stand (not to be confused with a one-night stand, sorry if this misled anyone ;o) ) is in New York. I will deliver it personally if it is somewhere in NY, NJ, CT perhaps even MA or PA if the trade is right. Considering the success of the red paper clip site and all the t-shirts that resulted... starting to wonder if shirts with one night stand emblazoned on them are the best thing for a girl to wear.... at the very least it may get you a free drink and a funny story
